I saw an interesting MCI today. 35', two axles (no tags) stainless steel from the belt line down, front looked new but it had large black rubber bumpers and the big block letter MCI, engine bay looked just like my 5C as far as the rads, shutters, etc were concerned but the side engine doors opened up, not out, and there were three luggage bay doors, not two like my MC-5C. big square windows with no sliders, and no blank panel in the middle. What was it?

Are you sure it was 35' ? A MCI 96A2 is 40' Tom Y
Did the 96A2 come with a single rear axle? I confess I probably assumed 35' because of that...
Edit - Google images shows that it was indeed a 96A2. there you go, my lunchtime mystery solved. It was parked at the center of the universe, btw, intersection of Yonge and Dundas... ;D Tourist tour bus, sitting there rockin' on high idle.

Brian, The 96A2 had a dropbox also. The 96A3, 96" wide 3 axle. Tom Y
More than likely that would have been a retired GO Transit 102A2.
You'll see them in Toronto and in Niagara Falls doing short hops.
A good number were dressed up in Planet Hollywood livery.
Bi-fold door, and there was no washroom in them originally.
A great platform for a lightweight conversion.
happy coaching!
