thanks, holy moly, they want over 700 dollars for the windshield rubber for the Dina. WOW
I don't think it was nearly that expensive a few years ago. Call C&J Bus Repair 952-881-0034 and ask them about the part. Mention my name and they can look up what part number they used to replace my windshields a few years back. Hopefully they can order it from MCI for you for less than $700, but maybe not.
(My windshields were paid for by insurance so I don't have an invoice with the part number.)
Check with Luke too.
I bought windshield seals and the rubber piece that goes in them to keep them tight for somewhere around 200 bucks for the pair, don't think it was even that much, sent them right to me, I know it was under the amount that they provide free shipping with as I had to order some other things as well to get the free shipping. I ordered from MCI
Can you tell me how to get hold of Luke? We talked to the folks at MCI and that was the price they quoted us. It is as much for the rubber for the windshield as it is to buy the windshields. We wanted to go ahead and replace the rubber cause we are putting in the new windshields, just to be sure there are no leaks or wind noise, but, wow, what a price to pay. Thanks for the info.

Ruthi has a Dina Viaggio like I do. MCI is probably going to be the only source for this unless someone else can order from MCI for less. I recommended C&J only because they might have a different part number and be able to order it for less than $700.
The Dina windshield gasket is one thick piece and does not have a lock strip like most other buses.
If anyone can get it for less it will probably be Luke. Hopefully it's not something that common vendors can't get.
What about Mohawk?
