No card gave my bus a hug. :-*
And yesterday I installed the new 50A shorepower cord I picked up for a bargain on the bay. Between the primary cord and the extension I now have 85' of 6-3 +8-1 shorepower cord. Enough to reach the 50 amp receptacle we are putting in at the shop.

Not to stray too far...
Wouldn't 85 feet require 4 gauge wire for a voltage drop of less than 3%?
Indeed, if I run a full 50 amps on either leg, that is what the wire gauge calculator says. But in my bus, there is zero probability of running that many amps per leg and I have my panel pretty well balanced. We have been living on 20-30 amp (total) connections for most of the last 3 years.
Interestingly, another calculator specs the resistance at .0402 ohms. Plugging that and 50 amps into Ohms Law seems to indicate a voltage drop of 2 volts.
Anyway, I doubt this is what the OP had in mind for this thread. So back to Valentines Day! I trust you are doing something really nice for Cat today. If not, she has by encouragement to give you lashes with a 4AWG wire. ;D
No card, however just got back from the storage yard where she sits. I give her a BIG HUG.

Along with a Huge Hug to celebrate....Happy Valentine's to Everyone!
I just saw where a man in Albert Lee, MN made his wife of 37 years a 1/2 mile wide heart.......made of cow manure. She loved it because of his creativity.
I spent some time with the ole girl...... ok... both of them!! Changed fuel filters and put the Suburban heater back in. Just another weekend and we'll be on track for our trip to Florida....... with both of the ole girls!
