That looks nice!  Do you have mufflers?  I plan to run up a tail pipe to the top of my bus, just one, so that the smoke and such is high off the ground.

One is hooked up to the original air cleaner, and the other one is hooked up to original muffler. Thanks, took some doing, but, just what we wanted.

haha, that is going to look fairly ghetto when it smokes out of one and not the other.

Looks great- BUT- it looks like you have a 6" or maybe 7" air cleaner inlet that you've reduced down to match the 5" chrome stack.  You may find the engine lacking for air and smoking at the least hint of altitude.  If it is a turbo engine, and if it smokes when you have it floored, and then stops smoking if you come up about an inch on the accelerator pedal, then that will be proof positive that the 5" stack is restricting your air inlet.  If you don't get any smoking-then no problem.  Good Luck, TomC

So the curb side stack is the air intake and the road side stack is the exhaust, I like that approach, I'm not sure on the air restriction tho but Tom may be right, on mine the air scoop picks up air and sends it thru a 6 or 7 inch tube into the air cleaner box and the air cleaner box sends it thru a smaller tube to the turbo and it doesn't seem to restrict it much but mine is a 6v92, possibly a real engine would object but mine is just happy to be on the road.

Tom it is a 7 in. air intake, 6 in chrome pipe. If it does smoke, we can add an additional pipe that will let more air in. Also, where the connector is, there is also extra air source too.

On the intake stack, I would paint the interior of the pipe black, since the exhaust stack is going to turn black inside also.  I think it would look a bit weird to see one pipe with chrome showing through, and the other being black.

On the new trucks with particulate traps, I've seen trucks with 90,000 miles on them and the stacks still look clean inside-the particulate traps really work.  Good Luck, TomC
