Nellie, in case you haven't seen it yet there is a 5 being parted out in the spare parts section.....he has windows. :)
I also have several slider 5 @ 7 windows that are free to any one that wants them. Also S.S. corners that are not to bad digged up for 8 @ 9s Fred North Florida bus Conversion
What is the compatibility between 5A, 5B and 5C when it comes to windows? Anyone know?

From an old price sheet that i have from Peninsula Glass, it looks like some of the 5, 6, & 7 windows are the same. However it looks like the 5C shares some windows with the 8. You might want to give them a call and see what is what.
Ed - Thanks so much for the tip! I checked out Hobe's previous posts and seems he's a maniac bus nut. And an MCI bus nut, to boot. Gosh, wish I'd found this board earlier in my bus nut stage of life.
I see Hobe's off-line, so I sent him a PM. For the most part, I'll stick with the old-fashioned windows... but a couple 'real windows' would be nice. You know, for fresh air and all that modern stuff.

the windows for an mc 8 are 1/4 inch bigger in height and length than a 5c. they will fit but you will not be able to use the gaskets all around. Also the angle windows are not long enough. they are about 1 foot to short. I have mc 8 windows and a 5c bus. i used one windos for the side so far.

Bunch of nice folks here! Several have offered some windows, so I'm sure something will work out. I've just gotta figure out what fits my old crate... and then figure out how to get the windows. :)
