Great work Ted. Looks awesome. I'm jealous. Our interior is quite outdated. We describe our bus interior with two words: Teal and Mauve.... Yuck! All our cabs are pickled oak. Maybe someday we'll catch up to you. Of course, by then interiors will have changed again!!!LOL
Rick
Wow your not joking when you say cabinets, quite a few, looks really good, congrads
Grant
Very well done! Nice choice of style and layout!
Paul
Thanks. We still have a ways to go, slide out needs fiished, floor, plumbing and outside painting. Maybe usable by spring. I'm ot sure about that . depends how things go and if I'm laid off or not.
Looks great!! I thought I had plenty of cabinets but there is something in everyone of them!!! Nice work!
Very nice! Where did you get your cabinets? We just put ours in, but, we couldnt put as many in as you did as we need room for other things. We are in the process of doing the plumbing now. Dont know when we will get it painted, but it is primed and ready to be painted.
Our cabinet saga is an interesting and frustrating one, We hired a local cabinet maker, paid him half up front($3000) and he was supposed to be done by June 15. Hadn't even started yet. So I threatened to sue him for theft of services, so some of the bases showed up the following friday. then weeks went by, nothing, He didn't answer calls, didn't call back, We went to his shop. Finally in September the countertop came. and then nothing. Then in November, he said he wanted more money, or he wouldn't finish it, Nope, no more money. The deal was half up front, half when done, I think he would have taken another thousand and ran, talked to lawyer he don't do it. we sent him a 30 notice and he didn't reply, so we found a place called Creative cabinetry, DuBois, Pa and they finished our doors, drawers and tables in less than a month, should have gone with them in the first place, One of the big cabinets is for the washer/dryer. One big one is a food pantry with roll out shelves like we have in our house. and the others are closets and drawers.
Nice work Ted ,very neat and clean ;D
Thanks for some of the background, Linda. Sounds familiar. lol
God bless,
John
wow Ted.
That looks great, if you were close to me I would have you do the inside of my Eagle for me.
Rick B yours and mine must be about the same age, mine is green, mauve and grey.
Don
Don,
you wanna see green grey and mauve???? Don't say I didn't warn you
Looks awesome Ted, I'll have to get up and see them in person, Looks alot different with the doors on. Good luck Jason.
Nice,,very nice!
Ted,
Looks Great! :)
And a good story to go along with it.
Good lesson for others to make sure and maintain some leverage when dealing with subcontractors.

We have been taken a couple of times in the past by being too trusting, and giving too much money up front because of some hardship story we have been given. NEVER again. Some have tried, but, we held strong. ::)
It is too bad people just dont have ethics anymore. Use to, if someone said they would do a job for you, it was done as quickly as possible, and honestly. Those were the good ol days, :o ;D ;D
Holy crap! Makes my layout look pretty lame... one gal termed it 'faux rustic' (trying to be nice, I'm sure). Trouble is, ain't no faux about it :'(
So, Ted, you actually gonna travel in that thing... or just take it to home shows? :)
