how fascinating! I knew nothing of the history of Eagle buses, yet they are historically linked to Setra, and manufactured in Europe until 1975! With the name "Eagle" I always considered them the most American of buses! There are three pages in this link, but the colors make the page links very hard to see: http://www.silvereaglebus.com/eaglehistory1.htm (http://www.silvereaglebus.com/eaglehistory1.htm)

I have been proudly telling ya'll forever that todays SETRA is the younger brother of the ORIGINAL EAGLE! (both designed and built by Kässbohrer) ;D
