the 671 has been sitting for several years with no sign of diesel in oil. after it was instaled and oil changed ,started to see diesel in oil.where to look first.
4drifter,
Was the engine properly sealed while it was sitting? Like the exhaust ports! If they were left open to the air for an extended time,
You can devolep corrosion on the cylender walls, and upon starting up the engine, cause excessive wear on the rings and cylendar
walls. I sure hope this is Not the case and maybe it's some other simple problem!
Good Luck
Nick-
I'm missing something here.
Where is the rest of the thread?
had the engine been run prior to seeing the fuel in the oil? May be a leaking fuel jumper line between injectors. Jack
Pull valve covers and check tubing to injectors
You might have a cracked flare on one or more of your injector lines. I have some that were take-offs when I installed my Jake brakes if you need some.
