Anyone use greenjeans insulation for the gen compartment? Someone at engine powersource told us that one of the best insulation is some kind of felt, and also some kind of rubber that is closed cell on one side and open celled on the other. They also told us that they put their generators in entertainer coaches and tv field trucks. They said that for our use, since we run our gen 24/7, that would be the way to go. I was told theirs is more of a commercial type that hold up to the usage. Any thoughts or exper. with that?
I do not know anything about this company/product, but here is a link to their website (http://greenjeansinsulation.com/theinsulator/#5).

Thanks, I already was on the web site when researching the possibilities. I like to hear from experience people have had with products before using.
Ask EPS for some references (people they have sold it to and see what they have to say.
EHP has sold to me a couple of times and I think their stuff is great. I lined my compartment with one thing and wrapped the exhaust with another. I've used the wet wrap on two different gensets.
The guy to talk to is Penn Larson at pennsue@earthlink.net. This guy will go way out of his way to help you.
Ruthi,
What kind of genset do you have? Just wondering...and did you get it new?
God bless,
John
