Title: Govenor Socket For Detroit 2 Stroke

Any of you guys have a extra governor socket for sale mine is missing and Snap On doesn't have any more and since the 8v92 is broke in good I need turn the rpms up a couple of hundred.
I posted here for more hits maybe, Mike can move it if he chooses.

Do not turn it higher then 2300rpm!  92 series just don't like high rpm's.  You'll save yourself alot of grief in the future-and 2300rpm is no load rpm.  Good Luck, TomC

Thanks for the info TomC but I never go above 2250 on a 92 series with no load and a damn good tach

Is this (http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?store=snapon-store&item_ID=10639&group_ID=1311) what you need?  If so, they are in stock online.  Not cheap though... $60.25.

Brian, that is it but when I ordered 2 days later I received a Pm telling me it was no longer available . Guess I'll try DD for a Kent/Moore if Dallas doesn't have one
