I just reviewed the map and they have made several great improvements in the past few months since it was first put up. It is really easy to find someone now and in the old version it was pretty difficult.

Maybe Phil/Nick will let us add it as a sticky for a couple of weeks so that everyone that wants to can sign up.

It would really be convenient for those traveling cross country to find where some of the other nuts are.

This is Nick's original post moved from the Help board to the Main board temporarily to encourage more members to log in and show their location. Hopefully with Name, City and State, Coach Model and Year. :

I went to the Frapper map yesterday to find another Busnut close to us and was amazed to find how little this tool is used. We listed ourselves. Then, I went to the chat room and asked why so many are NOT listed? The answer was "We don't promote it enough". I think this map is one of the best tools for us but, not used. Is there another reason? M&C

Out of 2000+ forum members, a many of them come to read the posts regularly and even more read it as guests (either non-registered or registered, but not logged in), but only a small percentage actively post in the forum.  I think the same applies to the map.  Probably only the folks that post at least periodically are of a mindset to put their pin on the map.

The map format has changed.  I've signed up before, but I'm not on there now.  Just re-upped the thing.
Could be that a lot of folk think they're on the map, but are not.
