We have acquired a Source Manager inverter. It seems to be working great. The problem is with the remote we attached. It's a link 2000. The battery monitoring part works fine. The on/off buttons for charging and invertering don't work and the leds on the bottom don't light up. The invertering and charging can be controlled from the inverter, but it doesn't seem that the remote is speaking to the inverter.
Any ideas??

could be a bad cord, most work from what looks like a phone cord, try a different one or check the pins where it plugs in.
Great advice! Also look at the pins with a magnifying glass and a strong light. Replacing the cord is the first step without looking at anything. If you still have problems squirt a little "Electrical Contact Cleaner" in the plug and socket and push it in and out 20 times till the cleaner evaporates.
See if someone with a compatible inverter will take yours to try. Anything to avoid sending in the inverter for repair$$$$$$$$ And there is no justification for their exorbitant charges. This is what we get when 4 or 5 inverter manufacturers are bought out/consolidated.

I have the source manager 2000, Ive found that you have to have the "on-off"button
on the manager OFF if you have the remote button ON. They dont like both being ON together for very long.>>>Dan
