I see you are from Ohio. Where did you have the paint work done? Is it wet sanded with clear coat on top of that? Inquiring minds?
SWEET
Looking pretty sweet!
Have fun,
Chad
Thank you for all the replies on our bus paint. No more dirty looks and turn up noses when we pull into a campground now.
Now can we get the inside to look as good as the outside?
We are now working hard on installing the Aqua-Hot and LP system to get ready for Jack party this New Year.
John316 Star Jet in Columbus, Ohio did the paint.
James77MCI8 Generator is a Honda EX4500 Gas, forced air-cooled, portable in a quite Box
This is temporary until we get a Diesel generator.
Thanks
Paul & Claudiene
What did that cost you? Nice paint scheme, imagine it with Arctic Blue . . .
Ouch, Paul. I was afraid that Star Jet did it. I hope you went over it meticulously, and I hope that they only painted the bus. They have been known to do VERY shoddy work. However, they have done good work, for a select couple (right Nick?).
They did a lot to our bus, and it was terrible. We ended up redoing most of what they did. It looks okay from a distance, but the workmanship was bad. They even have the pic of our bus, up on the wall in their office. If they are proud of the job that they did on ours ::) ::) ::), I will stop right there.
At least you live closer, so you can take it back, if you have problems. If they did anything else to your bus, new caps, roof raise, windows, etc, let me know. I can tell you how to fix it (I know pretty sad we had to do that).
God bless,
John
who did your roof raise and how much did it cost? How much did you raise it?
Just curious, I have the same bus.
I did the roof myself.
You can see it at www.incredibus.com/roof.com (http://www.incredibus.com/roof.com)

Starjet did "HUGGY" quite a few years ago. Except for wear and tear from the owner I think it still looks good.

Ned,
I sure wish that we would have had a good story with them. Maybe if I had told Dick, that I "knew" uncle Ned, he would have done good work. But I didn't "know" you then :'( :'( :'(.
I hope what paint job we got, lasts....
God bless,
John

Thanks Paul, you have great info on your site. I like your picture documentation.
I think you messed up your link though, I found the good one:
http://www.incredibus.com/roof.htm (http://www.incredibus.com/roof.htm)
Also, this link "Energy Conversions For RVs" seems to be broken just FYI.
Nice pictures - I guess I had better get my camera out to document the progress on my conversion, for all the world to see. I am still working to get the basics, like the generator, installed. Then I will rework the heat and air, so I can be comfortable as I live and work, eat and breathe, this potential travelling partner.
Sooner or later - probably later, I will have to deal with the paint issue. When I do, I hope there is someone willing to tackle a project for a customer who will want it to be more than perfect.
So much money deserves equal perfection !!
Nice conversion work, Paul. Keep it up !! Loved your site - lots to see.
Paul,
Very nice job you have done on this bus! I am in the process of completing a conversion on a 102A3 and it is nice to see the photos of your project.
You should be proud of this project and the fact that you are nearing completion.
Very nice job.
