Hi Folks. Have started getting my replacement engine ready for installation in my Eagle. Doing some inspection.
The service manual I have is a 1996 DDEC III and my replacement engine is a 1999 DDEC IV (SN: 060R0521890). The replacement engine does not have a tag on the valve cover. I want to make sure my manual specs apply to the replacement engine. My 1996 specs are:
intakes: 008
exhausts: .026
injectors: 78.8mm (tool J 39697 which I have)
jakes: .026 (I need to verify which model jakes I have)
None of my reference material states whether these are hot or cold values. I believe I was told they were cold values.
Thanks,
Jim
