there you go guys if you want a upgrade to a 4 stroke and electronic tranny the transmission is worth 4 grand easy now the 50 series i would not want but they are economical on fuel 1500 bucks you could not go wrong
good luck
The Series 50 had a bad rap since it was almost exclusively used for transit use-the worst engine treatment in the world. About the only two drawbacks of the Series 50 is a bit of vibration at idle-which the correct engine mounts will take care of. And to replace the balance shafts running off the oil pump at regular maintenance intervals. Otherwise it is a tough little brother to the Series 60. Good Luck, TomC
Looks like the Recaro drivers seat is worth about half that.
The reserve price is 3k. I think last time they sold for over 3k. They just sold 7 or 8 of them two weeks ago.
Bidding is already up to $2600. with a couple of hours left. It would seem that it will pass the reserve. The good news about it is that it was taken out of service as a running bus due to route reduction. I got a couple of years of service records on it, and it had the transmission rebuilt about 17 months ago. The down side is that it had the transmission rebuilt about 18 months before that. The turbo was replaced in 2007, but the records do not show any other serious engine work. If there ever was a rebuild, it was before 2007.
make mine RTS...
