Title: Terlingua International Chili Cookoff

Blu and I will be heading out from Tyler, Sat. Oct. 31 for the cookoff/party. Paul , I will call when we go thru Abiline. If anyone is interested, The final cookoff is Sat , Nov 7th. You can go to the CASI website at chili.org for info. Only dry camping and judges are needed . Numerous activities all week, plus watching. Come if you can. We will be in the "Big White Bus" . It's only 784 mile from here.

We will go I-20 to mMonahans, then turn left to Alpine. Stop at Alpine for the night . Next day Terlingua.

John, thanks for getting my mouth watering! :P ;D

I used to live in Ft Stockton and really enjoyed the incredible chili at the cookoff.  You just can't find good Tex-Mex chili like that in most parts of the country.

(I went through Ft. Stockton 3 years ago and it sure has gone downhill since back when I lived there.)

If you plan to spend the night, there might be some room here at Buck Creek RV Park where we are staying.......325......672..2825, or you can camp at WM off Exit 288 for free.
