Ahoy, BusFolks,
Question about VW toads and the DSG "Dual shift Gearbox" or multiple-shaft dual-clutch manual gearbox.
Remco says 'Not possible -- will burn up the transmission' --
Does anyone have any specific detailed knowledge of the DSG mechanisms -- Any mods to make it possible??

What some do is leave the tranny in neutral and the engine running and then tow 4 down. I'm not sure if that would work in that particular application but for many it's an option.

Go over to www.woodalls.com (http://www.woodalls.com) and link to their forums. They have one dedicated to dinghies (sp?). Ask about that model and you should get some real use response.
