I'm looking for a 1990 Prevost with RV interior. It is a 45 foot unit. CA license 6FIS448. Last seen it was paint black on the top half with stainless bottom. Vin # 2P9M33400L1001622. Might be in Las Vegas NV or San Diego CA RV storage unit . The last person seen driving it was Steve Steadham, a black skateboarder guy in his 40's. They may be trying to hide the bus. It might have been painted red. If someone can find it please give me a call. $2,500 reward for location and keeping an eye on it till I get there. If you have done work on the bus or have any ifo on its where abouts, please contact me. Thanks

There's a story here. Too bad these collection stories never get told. I had my share of repo stories over the years - I should have written them down at the time cuz they slip your memory.
Winched a cultivator out of 4 foot snow banks at 4:00 AM (its really cold at 4:00 AM when there's 4 foot snowbanks) and then lost the miserable SOB going around a curve about 10 miles down the road and had to winch it out of the ditch again. Another time I had a guy come in to get some work done and he just seemed hinky so I phoned my partner to ask about him. Turned out he had stiffed my (silent) partner years earlier but thought I wouldn't know about it. So I took a 100% prepayment up front - told him we did that with all new customers. That night my partner phoned him and thanked him for paying the old account. But most of them don't work out that well. If I had even 50% of what I wrote off over 20 years it would be a lot of money.
Good luck MAK - I'll keep my eyes open but its not likely up here in the frozen north.
Mike is this one of the coaches that was supposed to go from FL-CA or CA-FL and meet in TX? Hmmm that's too bad !
At least when I delivered them they made it all the way where they were supposed too! ;D
;D BK ;D
Well, with just a bit of detective work, I found his website at http://stevesteadham.com/. (http://stevesteadham.com/.)
It is showing an MCI painted in white, but there is also a small photo on what appears to be a tour schedule poster that shows what may be a red Prevost with stickers
and bright colors all over it. There's a small photo about the middle of the page showing a red bus in the background, but it looks suspiciously like an MCI.
There's all sorts of phone numbers and contact info on the site, too.
I also notice he has all sorts of sponsors. I suggest you contact them and discuss his actions with them. Could be they might not want to be associated with a deadbeat.
Or, quite possibly, they might be able to tell you where he is. However, it appears some of those sponsors are actually companies he may own.
Here's a bit of registrar info on his websites...

Mike;
Just some info to share. There has been an older Prevost on
a local car lot for about a month. I just drove over there to
have a look at it. It has a dark roof, polished lower and no
slides that I could see. The rear mud flap is by Country Coach.
Also the rear bumper and license plates are missing. This is all
I could see at 7:30 this evening. It was kind of dark. If you
need more info, let me know.
Merle.
