I don't see anything for doing a renewal on line or am I missing something. Mine is about to run out. Help appreciated.

Steve, actually you're good for another year.  You may have been referencing the date code on an older issue.  MAK put a code on the label in the format YYMM.  Beginning with the October issue (that is currently somewhere loaded on the back of a USPS snail) we put the renewal date openly on the label.

But to answer the question for others that may need to renew:  Until next month (Nov), any subscriptions due for renewal were placed manually or using the old online system (because the current system didn't become active until December last year).  For all of those renewals, it can be done using any of the manual methods (phone/fax/mail) or done as a "new" subscription online.

For subscriptions placed using the new online system (began mid December 2008) and before June 23, 2009, the only online options offered under MAK ownership were automatic renewal.  A reminder email will be automatically sent by the system 14 days ahead of the renewal date informing them that the card they set up in the system will be billed for a renewal.  It includes instructions on how to update card information, cancel or change to a non auto renewing subscription.

Starting June 23, auto renewal was optional.  When the non auto renewing subscriptions placed in the online system come up for renewal, the notice will include instructions for logging in to renew.
