Great news - BCM mailing is back on schedule!
The October issue of BCM going out by USPS Standard Class Mail went to the post office today. Based on USPS input plus our experience so far, it should start delivering to some within 10 days and most should have it within 21 days. A few in areas where service is slower seem to take 4 weeks.
International and U.S. First Class will be mailing tomorrow. First Class going to U.S. addresses should arrive in 1-7 days. International seems to average 10-20 days
We appreciate all the patience and support you guys and gals have shown.
When you get the October issue, I am confident you will find it to be another great issue. As a preview here is the Table of Contents:
- A Crowning Achievement - Erik Poppke - The cover/centerfold featuring Erik's 1971 Crown Conversion
- Thoughts About Engine Conversions or Re-Power Options for Buses - Jim Shepherd - An extensive look at key issues to consider when planning or just thinking about a re-power.
- Eagle Suspension and Alignment Procedure - Daniel Lenz - Step by step instructions on how to do this task the right way. Daniel worked at Silver Eagle in Brownsville, TX for 15 years.
- A Quieter Generator for the Orange Blossom Special II - Jack Conrad - A detailed guide on how to dramatically reduce generator noise without causing heat and ventilation problems.
- How to Push Start a Bus - Dave Galey - In his enjoyable story telling style, Dave teaches us how to push start a manual transmission bus.
- Heading East - Sandy Koos - A visit to the City of Brotherly Love - Philadelphia.
