Title: Tankless Water Heaters: "Alaska" and "Aqua" brands?
Post by: daveola on September 20, 2009, 04:17:47 PM

I'm seeing some really good deals for tankless water heaters made by "Alaska" and by "Aqua"

I wouldn't be surprised if these weren't as reliable as some of the better name brands, but I only need something to use for a year or so.  My big concern is if these are actually made-in-china crap like the chinese made gensets (which are worth more as scrap metal), or if these are reasonably reliable.

Anyone have any experience with these brands?

Never heard of them.

A year or so is 300 - 750 days.  The difference in price between the bargain brand and the quality brands works out to about 25 cents per day, half a buck at the most.

I figure it's worth a lot more than fifty cents to get through a day without having to fix my plumbing system.

I was just reading about the formentioned. I was looking at the "ELECTRIC TANKLESS Titian brand!  Looks like the incoming

water should be 65 degrees to work real good in cold weather.  I guess that would work depending on where your water tank

was stored, and how good the insulation you have in your bus!   Thought I would throw my 2 cents at you!
