Pegasus dropped by the chat room and posted the following request:
[Pegasus] 12:18 pm: We own a 1997 Eagle Bus with a 450 Cummins, We have had the clutch fan replaced but
still have a overheating problem. On the rear of the coach in the engine compartment I have a switch marked
Hot Weather - Up and Normal is Down, I have been told that this is a control module and switch for the fan
control. I would like to replace it but can not find the parts. Any ideas.
Hopefully one of the Eagle guys can help him out.
Frank
Frank we need more info on his unit where it is a re power or not for a 1997 model not many built and none I can find had Cummins engines in 1997
.Eagle had several different fan and radiator setup can you post the 7 digits of the serial # for him
good luck
What brand is the clutch fan? Parts probably come from Horton or who ever made the fan.
If his system hasn't been modified it will be a Carlson fan clutch but it would help if we knew if it was Hyd or mitre box driven system
good luck
I posted all I had available. Hopefully he will chime in with the additional information so he can get what he needs.
