Title: 4104 power train weight
Post by: johns4104 on August 31, 2009, 06:22:01 PM
I need to haul a 4104 drive train on a trailer, so I am trying to find the weights of the following components.
671 engine approx. 2200lbs
spicer 4spd ?
complete front axle with gearbox less bags, brackets, wheels and tires ?
complete rear axle less bags, brackets, wheels and tires ?

I would like to tow this behind my 4104 so knowing the weights will help to to keep the tongue weight correct.
Thanks,
John

I have no idea on the weights, however, you can get a tongue weight scale. They aren't that expensive. We have liked ours.

God bless,

John

I would say 3599 for the engine /spicer complete on the cradle/ 2500 front axle plus 1000 for safety, plus 2500 ib dual wheel trailer

total 7500 to 8000ibs total
