Just a heads up. There are 3 days left on the special to get 3 free months with any Bus Conversions Magazine subscription (new or renewal).
To take advantage of the special:
New Subscribers or subscriptions that have expired:
- Online. Go to www.BusConversions.com (http://www.busconversions.com) and choose Subscribe from the Magazine menu
- By phone. Call 863-303-4008
- By Fax. Complete the subscription card below and fax it to 877-783-1667
If you have a currently active subscription and want to renew now, call 863-303-4008 or fax the subscription card to 877-783-1667.
But hurry, this special offer ends at 11:59PM EDT on Monday, August 31st.
Added Note: I just realized that the subscription card doesn't make note of the higher rates for non-U.S. delivery. This is due to higher postage rates. Canadian delivery subscriptions are $68/year and all other international delivery are $88/year.
Sorry, Highteck. We are subscribed for another couple of years.
God bless,
John
How can you tell when your subs. ends.
Richard
I'd just be happy to get the magazines I ordered lol, I just got 2 perfect copies of july a couple of days ago, both copies in perfect shape tho but identical lol. As long as I can keep reading the online version tho I'm happy.
I am working on a subscription renewal notification process. That is direly needed. The old method was too cryptic for some and not proactive enough to catch attention. Plus when I showed it to the post office, they weren't to fond of it. There is a proper way to include in the address label info. But I still don't feel like it should be so subtle as to require someone to look at their label periodically to know. I am leaning more towards a postcard reminder during the last month of a subscription.
Cody, I am finding several duplicates in the database. I look for yours. The postal service must really love your area. The July and August issues were mailed late, but still the July issues mailed July 22nd from north Georgia. The Postal Service states that on "Standard Class" mail (what is used for the magazine), there is no service timeline guarantee but that it should be to all locations within 2-3 weeks. Apparently they are a little slower in your area.
The post office is working on a new barcode system that is supposed to add features to enable mailers to monitor specific mailings in the system. If that works out, then I suppose we'll be able to identify/document problem areas and point them out to the USPS to see if anything can be done.
I wish we could mail them all First Class. But the cost difference is a back breaker.
Tried, but system says my Amex is invalid merchant number, error code 4015.
We are set up for Visa, MasterCard or Discover via our merchant account.
If you would like to pay by Amex, you can do it via PayPal. Just use PayPal to send the payment to webmaster@busconversions.com. If you don't have a PayPal account and don't want one, just send me your email address, name and mailing address. I will then be able to send you a PayPal invoice that will enable you to pay using your Amex card via PayPal without setting up a PayPal account.
Another option: Send me an email with your subscription information by Monday night (08/31) or call me Monday, then mail a check to:

I never subscribed before due to PO. I have just subscribed, lets all give them a chance !!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
I subscribed the first of the month. Looking forward to my first issue under the new management.
How about posting when a new issue is mailing out...that way we could keep an eye out for it? Also maybe a little feedback on when it arrives...if it matters!

Right on, Timkar!!! I agree, why not subscribe, and help them out with the funding.
God bless,
John
In my work we use Standard Mail ( 3rd Class, old name) and overall delivery is terrific. But when we have delays or other problems ( non deliverable due to bad address, even when the customer prints their own address!) over the years we have determined the local post office ( not where the mail originates) is the culprit. Some seem to have a bad attitude regarding Standard Mail and will purposely delay it falling back on their policy of no guaranteed delivery time.
Short of springing for 1st Class there is nothing you as the mailer can do about it. Complaining to the Post Office will result in worst service.
I never received April and have not received August yet. But I see that September is already posted. I prefer the paper version over electronic.
My first issue(August) arrived today. Looks good!

Steve, I looked it up and a good label printed, so it went out on the 24th. It should arrive soon. I will ask Chad to mail you an April issue.
