Hello All, I just want to say "THANK YOU" to a fellow Bus Nut.
THANK YOU DALLAS You helped Christi and I with our conversion of a charter bus into Mrs. Jones. The advice you gave freely to us not only saved us thousands of dollars, your expertise enabled us to complete this task on a "MUST" 90 day time line. Christi and I didn't know a thing about buses when we started, but with the kindness given to us by the people of this website, Nick,Cody,LarryTom,bill,Scott Paulx3,BOTN,Sean,HTredneck,mike,Buswarrior, I could go on and all the other "Bus Yodas", you know who you are, we are learning. A specal heart felt thanks goes to Dallas. You above all helped change our life forever and gave us the confidence to do, what seemed, the impossible. We are proud to call you our friend. There are not many opportunities in ones life to make a profound difference in anothers'. If you are not here, what is the next guy to do? All we know is that we feel we couldn't have done it without Dallas. All the Best to you sir, Michael & Christi Hargis and Mrs. Jones
Dallas,
Thank you for all that you did here on this board. Your knowledge was invaluable, and all of your manuals that you shared were, I feel confident, much needed at the time (I hope those who have received them will reciprocate and send you a copy). Thank you for the sound advice, and I am sorry that some on this board are glad to see you go.
You will always be missed! Don't let the others get you down!
God bless,
John
Thank you Cat for the PM. We are hopeful. M&C
Dallas,
Thank You for offering your help to Tami and I when we were tackling are brake work we could NEVER have done it without you, plus all the other stuff you have helped with..and of course Cat in there looking for tools and other pieces we needed. Your ribs are the best...
I trust you will be back soon..
Tami and John
From me also. I have learned a ton from this forum and one thing that always stood out was the help Dallas always offered to anyone with a problem. You can't leave this forum. You're what it's supposed to be. Later
I agree with the kind and appreciative remarks by all the others. We are a truly unique bunch; we have unique interests and unique needs. Only this board can fulfill our needs and allow us to survive. I would never have aquired a bus if it had not been for Dallas, Jack Conrad, BarnOwl, and others on this board. I owe you all a debt of gratitude. It might be an oversimplification, but sometimes when we make written remarks, some of the meaning is either lost or misunderstood in the process because the message is not delivered in person. We have to allow for that. Also, sometimes we all could benefit by waiting before commenting, weighing our remarks. For what it's worth...
Dennis
Dennis,
That is solid advice. I would add that it is better to get in touch "off the BB" and verify things first. I have had a few people contact me about posts and I was FLOORED at their interpretation of my comments. It is always helpful to "consider the source" but we don't always have a clear picture of all the people that post. Life, eh?
Thanks,
John
Thank you Dallas for coming down to Moblie, Al. and staying three days, when I was pulling my hair out working on my transmission.
Bill
There is a BIG HOLE in the chat room :(

Well put, John. I have found myself in the same situation.
I second Dave G's comment.

Unfortunately, it appears that his membership is gone.
Can we just give him a chance for a rest? This is all so very weird...
happy coaching!

What most people don't know is that Dallas was an alien, we knew that sooner or later the mothership would be back and he would have to leave, now the question is who did they drop off to serve as his replacement, only time will tell, expiring minds want to know.
And here I thought Dallas was a gift from the Bus Gods, M&C ;D
I didnt know that StarCruisers were powered by Detroit 2-strokes......must have been the 12 cyl ones...
(to reach Warp speed,etc)
Use the force, Dallas!!!!
