I want to get a new scroll done for my MCI, and don't know who does those. If I have to, I will use the empty space on the scroll that came with it, and spray paint, but I would rather have it look right.

My idea instead is to get one of those inexpensive LED character displays like off of Ebay. You can get small ones for about $40 and larger ones for maybe $130.
This won't work if you want to keep the period look of your bus.
Here's where I got mine. Talk with Jennifer. Transign made the original sign for my 4107 (in 1968), and my additional sign (2 years ago). They were the OEM for the transit market - I've bought a lot of signs from Del when I was buying buses. Great people, reasonable prices. If your MCI has a curtain, they may have made the original. Unscroll it to the end, and see if there is a Transign name, part number, and date on it.
Since I'm in the transit business, I included the one sign I always wanted.... "Wrong Bus." The one destination I wish I'd thought of .... Sonova Beach. I think someone here posted that one.
If you look into the electronic signs from transit buses or coaches, be sure you do your research on programming. Many of my clients have had difficulty with this. Voltron signs (out of business), required burning of new chips. Luminators require(d) computer software, transferred to a device (MTU), for programming of the actual destination sign. I haven't been involved with programming Twin Visions, so don't know their characteristics.
I've had clients who bought new or used buses, and didn't get the programming software for the signs ... and the manufacturer then wanted beaucoup bucks for any changes. Another possibility is making friends with the maintenance superintendent at your local transit system - he/she may be able to help you if they have the same type of electronic sign.
