Recently I went to a festival and there was a company called Enviofuel.com that displayed products to convert a diesel to work on Waste Vegetable Oil. Seems like a great idea and has some technical advantages in terms of lowered emmissions, too. It also seems to be a viable alternative to bio-diesel and much easier to manage.
The question is: Has anyone installed a similar kit on their bus? If so, it would be of great interest to hear what you have to say.
Here is an informative resource listing and some information that a quick Google search discovered:

A few are/have used WVO with mixed results. I think part of the mixed results is due to the quality of the wvo and how it is filtered and de-watered prior to use. In some areas the WVO is becoming more difficult to obtain due to demand and some providers now leasing the VO to the busu=inesses instaed of selling it to them. Jack
