OK found a rebuilt trans from greyhound at a real good price (we service their equipment) pulled the old one out and stripped it down to find that it wasn't the trans that locked up...Now we are looking at the rear end (pulling it apart next week) since when something failed it dropped the drive shaft and broke the trans housing... Sooooooo it looks like we will be needing a DL3 98 rear end (gears) more than likely. any one have a set sitting around?  By the way I want to thank all the responce I have been getting! You guys are great......

Wouldn't Greyhound supply their own parts?
