Title: New Toilet.
Post by: johns4104s on August 01, 2009, 08:34:07 AM

Last month on our way into Indiana we had problems the toilet. We bought a $200 one from Camping world, We also added a $60 flush hose. At the time I thought WOW 30% more for a flush hose? Well let me say we have never had a hose in any of our coaches but this is one of the best additions to any coach. We would never ever be without one again.

Ummm,
John, pardon me for my ignorance, but what is a flush hose and would more fiber in the diet help instead?

John,

Glad you problem is fixed. Perhaps you should sign on with NASA. I think they had potty problems on the shuttle that just landed. Of course it could have been on the space station. I mean really what toilet would not have a problem with thirteen people and one potty. Darn think must have been in constatnt use. I'd guess they had to post a schedule for each person to go by to make their uh... contributions!

I do not know for sure now but in the early days of space travel they had special low residue diets.

John our crappers must be in sink because mine just gave up. My Aqua Magic Galaxy has been performing flawlessly for 20 plus years. I am having a new one installed Monday.

I know you guys say why not do it yourself?

I have neither the time, training nor the inclination for crapper service.  ;D

Hey John....

Post a photo of the "crapper flush hose" so we can get an idea of what it is.

I believe this is what he is referring to. A water saving device that lets you rinse the bowl manually.

Gee, if you put the head close to the galley, you could get by with just the hose for rinsing dishes!  ;D ;D ;D
