Title: 8v92T hard to start?
Post by: johns4104s on July 27, 2009, 05:31:23 PM
After about 500 miles today we pulled for a few minutes, the off ramp was steep so was the ramp into the truck stop. after about 20 minutes I tried to re start the motor, it took three tries the last one was about 15 turns before it started.  I normally run the motor a while at idle before I shut down could this be the reason?

Thanks

John

John;  I don't know all the perticulars but was it spinning fast [normal] or was it just slow?  If it was slower than normal, you might have a simple connection problem. check  all the terminals and ground straps.

Gomer,

It spins fast, it just does not want to start right away. Now from cold she fires on the first turn?

John, It just doesn't want to go to the desert! ;D

I'd check your ground, you might have a loose or corroded connection.

Be Safe,

Paul
