Title: Source for 24 volt marker and clearance lights
Post by: centrix29 on July 25, 2009, 08:33:12 PM
I need to replace my triangular clearance and marker lights on my 1980 Prevost.  I know the lens' shape is the same as a Bluebird school bus.  My lights are 24 volts.  Is there a place where I can buy such replacement lights?  Can I buy a Bluebird light and put a 24v led replacement bulb?

Thanks!

Pat

For standard marker lights with incandescent bulbs you just replace the 12 volt bulbs with 24 volt bulbs.  I did a quick google search and found a number of 24 volt LED marker lights, but not sure what style a Prevost needs.  I remember seeing 24 volt LED marker lights from one of the big lighting manufacturers.  It can't recall if it was Truck-Lite or Grote.
