The Red Coconut RV Park in Ft. Myers, Florida is on the beach. When I say on the beach, I mean the first row, parks their front wheels on white sand. (google it)
That is were we are heading in about 30 minutes for the weekend.
Bill and Hyeyong
I'm sure we'll see some pictures, Right!
Kind of like this one.

Have fun you two!
Paul
Bill,
I used to stay in that park all winter with my grandparents back in the mid 50s and go to school at Ft. Myers Beach elementary. It is a beautiful park. Jack
PS: Paula said to tell Hyeyong Hi.
Bill, if you are trying to make us jealous.......it's working!!!!
Now Jack...next you will be saying it was a 20 mile walk to school...all uphill going and coming and you had to trudge through snow drifts to get home! ;D
Jack
I understand that you have to book the first row, a year in advance. We are on the fourth row. Can still see the water from the bus. Took coffee and went for a loooongggg walk on the beach this morning.
Hyeyong is in love with this place.
OMG I used to live down there. Cape Coral was another place we lived. If you have the time check out the little owl's that live in Cape Coral. A another fun spot ( If you have kids ) is on sanibel island just over the bridge is a spot on the beach. We took a small kids net to catch several sea horse's and other critters, kids had a blast.
Looks like you guys are having a blast.
Sure beats the weather we're having in Abilene, 100° today! Sheesh!
At least you have a beach to walk around on, all we have here is rattlesnakes and scorpions! :D
Paul

The 4th row should be better for the bus if you are concerned with either rust or corrosion issues. The salt water in the air gave my brother rust issues on his car as it came from Davis Island in Tampa. Jim G. - Ohio
Paul,
Its 79 in Chicargo, not like home. Your windows are enjoying the breeze, Tomorrow they are going to Phoenix AZ.
John
John
John,
Those windows are sure getting a tour of the country. ;D
Hope they enjoy the trip! ::)
Paul
Bill, You may also like Fort Desota a couple hours North of there. TomY
Bill,
Plan to wash your bus when you get home. We parked near the beach at St Augustine a few years ago and noticed the windshield was covered with salt spray. We were just across A1A with a beautiful view of the Altantic ocean through our windshield. Jack
Mother natured wash the bus yesterday. Looking at the sky, believe I'm about to get a real good washing again.
Love Desota Park. That's in St. Pete, where I've been living for the last 15 months.
Front row is $500.00 a week for off season, $535.00 a week during season. ::)
Bill & Hyeyong, at the beach.... ;D
Bill,
Whats the rate for the fourth row now. Im guessing there is a differant winter rate ? We are hopeing to get our bus down there this winter or next winter and love Fort Myers Beach. Are you at the north end of the beach ?
Check the website for updates, but looks like 4th row is 67.00 a day, 422 a week. Plus (small print) $8.00 a day utilitys. Not a cheap place to stay. Of course if you stay across the street and take the five minute walk it's a lot cheaper....
