Yes that is very interesting and thank you Airbag.
It took Mole & Thomas over a week to get everyone of 18000 soldiers in proper places and add more people to the torch than the bodies so it is proportional angular perspective for it looks like it stand up. In other words, photographer has to be at the correct height to get the correct angle or else it would be out of proportion. Amazing!
