Title: Secure connection....
Post by: Iver on June 26, 2009, 12:21:33 AM
I am currently using Firefox for my internet connection.  When I try to contact BCM using their "contact us" form
I get this message:-
Secure Connection Failed
www.busconversions.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

  * This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.

    * If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.
Or you can add an exception...

Anyone else get this message?

If it helps, I use Firefox and tried to force a secure connection by changing http to https on their homepage. A valid certificate was presented (a Go Daddy Secure Certificate, expiring Nov 20, 2009).

I use FF and have had this a couple of times. As I remember there is a choice to ignore it, which I do when I know the site is safe. IE is much, much worse to do this.
