Title: 8v92TA oil pan drain.

There are two plugs, a small one in the bottom and a large one 1" up the side of the pan. i used the small bottom plug that srews into a brackrt. Is this correct?

John, the 3/4 in the bottom of the pan is to drain the 1 inch on the side is for a oil heater   good luck

Yes, you are correct.  We removed the plug in the side to install our oil temperature gauge sending unit.  Jack
