Title: Glass blocks
Post by: sweeney153 on June 18, 2009, 07:18:36 AM
In the mirror post Nick had a picture of some great looking glass blocks

(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.busconversions.com%2Fbbs%2Findex.php%3Faction%3Ddlattach%3Btopic%3D12312.0%3Battach%3D12602%3Bimage&hash=702a044832740abe95080a804d342a6798768e80)

I didn't want to hijack that thread so I am starting this one.

Do you have a picture from the outside?

Do they block the view of the inside from the outside?

I am looking for a way to have privacy in the bathroom without totally blocking the window. I've looked at different films and am not crazy about the ones I've seen.

I have kept all the bus windows so I would be covering bus windows not RV windows if that makes a difference.

Hi Sweeney,

With the tint of the oem bus windows, it is barely noticable that the obscure acrylic block panels are there. You can see them a little bit

but, you have to be looking for them. As far as see through, they give the same effect as real glass bolck. Obscure.. and would be prefect

to use in the bath area.

I will find more pics when I get back in the office

When I saw Nick's bus that was one of the first things I noticed.  I thought those blocks looked beautiful and went outside to see if I could see them but from outside it looks just like a regular window.  They are a really neat feature of his bus.
