The linkage trough the engine compartment is so worn-out I cannot get full throttle which sucks on hills. What was the guy who designed this thinking? I could repair all those levers with bearings,or find an air throttle.Any suggestions welcomed.
Slide,
I feel sure you are talking 4104 throttle cable. Undo both ends (be careful at the rear as the cable is grabbed by two small lock key keepers.) Pull the cable out the rear, It may take a come along to get it out. Coil it up in a 5 gallon bucket of diesel. soak overnight, then run a wire brush down and clean all the crud and rust off. Soak again overnight. then turn the cable around so the part that went though the s curve now is close to the front of the coach. Secure the front and back ( with the keepers) and you will have full throttle. If the s curve is rusted though replace it.

Slide, you can do it with a air throttle but you still have some of the bell cranks to replace also if you have an auto tranny you will need to change to a air modulator.
Me I would replace the bell cranks it is not that hard of a job a Eagle throttle works nice when in good shape.
Have you checked the joints under the floor by the first step that is were most are worn out.
good luck and you can get the parts from Jefferson in OKC OK.
John was it the Eagles that impressed you in Breaux Bridge or the food lol
