My almost 3 year old and I fixed the electric horn (wire through steering column came off), the air horn (crud/corrosion in the valve making it stick), dash lights (changed out the water temp and air temp gauge for newer models with interior dash lights), re-wired the back-up camera, installed lights in the engine compartment, added 24v dash lights to the genset temp gauge, fixed the emergency shut-off in the engine compartment (the original switch was rusted out), replaced the valve switch that controlls the squirrel fan belt tensioner. (Deep breath here) We repaired the shutter system for the radiators by replacing the radiator units, fixing hoses and testing with shop air. I had already put in rebuilt cylinders for the flaps that close under the squirrell cages. We need to run the bus to check to see if the shutterstat works properly yet. I'll do that by driving around the block for several hours. ;) I also continued to change diapers. ;D

Hi Tenor, Now thats some good progress. Whats next? All the Best, M&C
I bet you sing while you work? I pulled a Mark XVI Spitfire out of a shipping container and assembled it with a Scotsman for month or so and he sang old English diddlies the entire time. ;D
I just bought two new shutterstats on e-bay and will only need one so let me know if you need one.
Thanks Airbag! I really appreciate that! I will let you know next week. I envy you that work on aircraft. That was my first "job" - aircraft mechanic. I was 2 years old and I could take the screws out of low wing aircraft while standing up! ;D My Dad was an apprentice mechanic and I was his. :) I drool over aircraft!

Airplanes are another bad habit like buses ;D I cannot decide which one is more exspensive I think it is a draw. My Dad used me for a wheel chock also till I could hold a wrench . Just send me a PM and I will get the shutterstat right out to you if you need it.
This is my Mom and Dad and our Reliant that we went everywhere in.

Good news update! The shutterstat works like a charm. The shutters just keep opening and closing as the temp moves up and down! Gotta love it!
Airbag, thanks again for the offer! My grandpa had a Cessna 172 (?) Trike gear from about 1956 we flew all the time. He told me later if he had known I enjoyed flying as much as I did, he would have kept it for me! Now where would I put that? Or, a hangar for the plane AND bus... ;D
