Title: A/C part?? Do you know what it is?
Post by: sweeney153 on June 11, 2009, 12:56:57 PM
Since my plumbing is now working well enough I am getting back to my bus. I was able to find a wiring diagram but I have a whole bunch of wires and electronics that are not on the diagram. My bus had A/C which I'm told is unusual for a Crown. I think most of he wiring is from that. The A/C was a Carrier unit powered by a pony engine. It also generated ac power for the inside A/C blowers. In the front compartment (glove box) by the door is most of the A/C wiring. Also in the compartment are three black boxes that I think are part of the A/C but I don't know for sure. The wires they are attached to run into an area where I can't trace them. I am hoping some one here will know what they are and help me out.

I couldent get the pictures to work so I put in links

Hi Sweeney,

if I were to take a guess, I would say that they somehow sense current draw and send an idiot light on when something is out of limits.

Just a guess of course.. :D

It's called a dammit.
If it works after you mess with it, you think, "dammit, that's cool!"
If it doesn't work, you just think, "Dammit"
