Title: Miraculous Cooling Unit
Post by: Lin on June 03, 2009, 07:06:39 PM
Why use rooftops or basement units when you can use one of these that for a mere few hundred dollars transcends all laws of physics and common sense (and hopefully some penal codes).

Looks like it should be on a mid-night "info-mercial"!

A two page ad in Parade Magazine last week, probably the same folks that brought you the Amish electric fireplace.  If it was in Parade, it must be good, right?

let's see

One ton of ice melting equals 12,000 btu/hr for 24 hours

one ton of ice = 266 gallons or a block of ice approx 6' x 6' x 6'

that's one BIG ice cube

or think about 100 20lbs bags of ice
