It's Rally time at the 2009 Bus-Nuts Gathering at the KOA in Wade, NC.
This time next Saturday night we should all be snuggled in our beds making some Z's, having learned a lot and had fun. We will be under way with the 2009 Bus-Nuts Gathering. May 29-31
We deliberately keep the non-rally rally small (Maximum of 20 coaches) don't have rally fees because we don't want to hinder anyone from enjoying our hobby. We want this to be a fun and enjoyable time for U as U make new friends and renewing old acquaintances as well as sharing experiences.
Below is the menu we have planned for Friday thru Sunday to any and all who wants to participate. If U do not want to bring anything that's fine we will have a hat or something U can pitch in some $. It will be used to offset expenses.
Friday Supper A visit to Hudson Bay Seafood Restaurant in
Fayetteville ~ 'great seafood'
Saturday Breakfast Biscuits, Jelly & Sausage Gravy
Saturday Lunch Sausage Dogs & Hot Dogs
Saturday Supper Eastern NC Pork Bar-B-Q
Sunday Breakfast Pancake & Sausage /Syrup & Butter
Darrell is providing the sausage and I will provide the Bar-B-Que.
We will have some dreamers, some newbees and some wannabes and the Dyed-in-the-wool Bus-Nutz.
There R a few spaces still available so if u want to have a good weekend of Self Induced R&R with good people so come on down and join us.
Any questions feel free to email or call us (see profile). We R looking forward to a great time together.
Travel safely,
Gene
PS Remember coming from the North on I-95 the overhead bridge is out at Exit 61 so U will need to proceed to the next exit and do a flop and head North on I-95 back to Exit 61.
Well ;we are packing up ,and getting ready to roll down that way. This is a very good location for many of our members, and will always be well kept, and groomed. Being centrally located for members in the Carolina's ,Virginna, and neighboring states will give us a chance to get together again! This is a better location than the Old Timmonsville,S.C, that we enjoyed .We are thankful for Genes ,faithfulness, and hospitality.Hope to see you there!

Yep. Got the bus all watered and fed..and the oil changed today. Even repaired the steplight! Afraid T was going to fall out in the dark...? That would be bad!
This will be our first outing with our new little pup. :o
She's doing pretty well here...but hope she likes the bus! She like to ride...in the car.
We'll be over on Thursday evening.
Hope the rain STOPS!! I'm working on about 2 inches here...of course, I live about 30 minutes from Lowes Motor Speedway...rains have pretty much wasted the 600. Oh well, need to check out my repair on the leaking windshield.
Looking forward to the 'shindig!' JR
The coach is loaded ,and ready to go. We are shoving off in the morning to get a extra day of fun & relaxation!I am looking forward to meeting some new faces,as well as old aquaintances. I am told that there will be some special talented musicians entertaining Saturday evening! Come and see!

Have fun Gene and All! These bus gatherings are growing in number, not just one or two to attend anymore. You meet the best people and get to have fun too!
~Paul~
Gene & Francis and all Rally supporters,
We wish we could have attended this year which we were planning to do but things just did not work out for this time period at the last hour to go. I know you will have a great time. With JR & Terri there and hopefully some music by them and others you will be entertained to the fullest for the few great days you gather.
Remembering from the Timmonsville Rally some time ago I know you will eat the best barbecue you will ever enjoy and the rest of the rally will be fun filled just mixing with busnut friends.
Take many photos for everyone to enjoy, if you do not wish to post them yourself on your websites feel free to forward any information with photos to me as I always like to do and I will post them on my website and youtube for all to enjoy. This is only an offer in case you do not wish to spend the time in doing it yourself but it is rewarding to do yourself if you do. Remember to try to arrange a Group Photo, (Good luck getting everyone together though) as this is rewarding to view on the internet to you and your friends after you have all gone back home to your regular lives. This will also encourage others to do the same and enjoy their conversions or any type of rig you attend a rally with and also you can offer to assist in arranging other smaller rallies that are closer to the home bases of other busnuts wishing to attend them.
Have a great weekend, we hope for the much needed good water from heaven to take a little break for a few days to make this weekend memorable for you all. Travel safe to and from Gene & Francis's rally.
Gary
Thanks Gary. U will be missed and I will shoot U the pictures ASAP.
Oh YES, we will have some goo........d BBQ again. We'll also have some goo....d sausage as well, thanks to Darrell and other good stuff.
From the looks of things we R going to have a # of Newbee's and Dreamers. That's where it starts. We will just add a little fuel and air to the spark. It's gonna be fun to watch the spark start and go into a roaring fire. The Dream continues and the hobby grows.
it's now Thursday and 3 more have pulled in. it's gonna be a great we eekend. word is we will have a southern Gospel group coming in on Friday and a singing on Saturday.
Good Music, good songs and good Bus-Nuts ---- What a weekend!!!
See ya,
gene
Gene , Will be there for a day trip Saturday without the Coach. With all that has been going on at this end I don't have it quite back together.
The dash ( being re-done to suit me) ain't in and the gear box needs to be re-installed.
But I'll be there for some good food and Friends. ;D
