Title: Wheel Bearing Adjusting Tool
Post by: JackConrad on May 20, 2009, 02:37:43 PM
I have received several emails asking about the dimensions of the wheel bearing adjusting toll that I made. I answered the emails, but decided to put the photo with dimensions on here for anyone else that is interested. This tool was made to fit an MC-8. I do not what other makes or models it will fit. For the 2 1/4" pins I used cut off 60 penny spikes.  Jack

When I was replacing a rear seal in my buddy's shop last week he had one of these (http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200349983_200349983).  Worked slicker than goose $#!% and beat manhandling that big dirty drum 14 ways from Sunday.

It is a very handy little tool. I am going to use it to adjust the curbside front bearing on my RTS.  I seem to have a little too much play in it.
