Title: DDEC supply voltage
Post by: Ray D on May 03, 2009, 03:47:29 PM
1989 Prevoxt XL, 8V92T.
The supply voltage for the computer mounted on the engine is direct wired to the battery for 12 volts.  Is this the way it should be or should it be on a switch leg???

Thanks,
Ray D

Thanks for the reply c-coop
Yes, that is the way mine is now and I guess the way it should be.  I just thought it odd that it was not switched.  It is even hot with the battery disconnect off.

Ray D, I imagine that line is for permenent memory. It should be protected but not switched, if that is so.

For what it's worth.
