Title: Bus history.
Post by: steve5B on May 02, 2009, 05:16:29 PM

Where can I find info on a bus that is for sale here locally?  It's a GMC 4106-305  I think it's a 1961 or 1963.  What a fantastic

   conversion!

    Thanks,

Guys, what I meant was the past history as to where it came from and who owned it in the past.

Steve -

PD4106-305 was delivered new as fleet number C-6105 in April of 1961 to Carolina Coach Company, a Trailways affiliate, based in Raliegh, NC.

Back in those days, most companies kept their vehicles about 10 years, and Carolina Coach had a good maintenance program, so originally it was well taken care of.  Most likely it was sold off after the summer season of 1971, give or take a little.

When you say "for sale here locally", where is locally??  (See why we ask folk to put at least their city & state in their profile?!?!?)

FWIW & HTH. . .

;)
