Title: split ac
Post by: Airbag on April 26, 2009, 12:17:08 PM
In case you have not been following my previous threads I am installing a used Duo Therm split AC system now made by Crusair. Yesterday I removed the evaporator section (3rd time) from the closet just in front of the bedroom because it was blowing warm air. I took it to my aircraft shop and filled it with acetone and backflushed it with 400psi of dry nitrogen. After re installation I vacuumed it for 20 hours and then serviced with R22. It blows 50 degree air now and I am over joyed to say the least. Now I can finish the installation with duct work.

Hi Rick,

Im glad it worked.... It had to be either a piece of solder of moisture.

Good Luck
