I believe I have it narrowed down to a couple things, but am not sure how to troubleshoot and determine which one it is. I believe i either have a bad temperature sensor, or the switch that controls the temperature is bad. Here is what is happening....i will have the temperature control all the way on the coolest setting, and i will drive and i will have a/c for about 5 minutes, and then the heat light on the dash starts kicking on in intervals, and within about 2 minutes it stays on constant. so about 20 minutes later, the heat light would go off, and again same routine....i would have about 5 minutes of a/c. good thing i went with spray foam insulation! hahaha. anyways, the problem started off like that, and then progressed to the heat light just constantly being on. but yeah, i have no idea what is causing the problem, but it seems like a bad temperature sensor or regulator. any advice on what it may be or troubleshooting? thanks!!
My mc7 OTR quit working and I found that the controller had quit. It could be the temperature sensor which the controller uses to make the proper adjustments or the controller its self. I will attempt to give You the part number of Mycontroller and if it matches Yours I will tell You how to place a switch that will turn the air on and off the only catch is that you become the thermostat!
Never mind so much what the heat light is doing, it's job is to blend in the right temp...
What was happening with the temp in the coach?
The temp sensor in the return air is the weak link that is a replaceable item.
happy coaching!

The temp in the coach got hot once the heat light started to stay on. Any advice on the best way to replace the temp sensor as it is pretty much underneath the floor and no way for me to access it at all without cutting up the floor which i cant say is even an option for me
You have a bad T-stat more than likely - you may call it a sensor but it's the "regulator" that calls for the heat to moderate the AC (which is continously ON)

You can access this in the front driver side bay.
It screws into the side of the tunnel.
Mine acted the same when it was only low on freon.
It would work fine until the coil froze up then the light would flash until the ice melted over and over :D
