Title: GM fuel tank
Post by: Airbag on April 01, 2009, 08:09:56 PM
I have been waiting for Tom or Dorene to post some pictures of the fuel tank subfloor repair we did at my place before the Rally on their GM bus. It looked like this could be a hazard if left unchecked. It was not a hard fix so maybe Tom will chim in here.

I have been getting the rear center window squared away on my bus. Replaced the corroded sill and painted. Cleaned the corrosion on the window frame, I have left most of the anodizing and debating if I should paint or not. I have found a latch for it and seals. I must have talked with half the bus salvage yards in the US. MCI was simpathetic but only had one of the seals.

Hi, Airbag.

We just got home last night, so I haven't had time to post the pictures. I plan on doing it soon, but the reminder will probably speed up the process.
