Under the bus looking to the rear there are two tanks placed a little futher back than the front axle. The tank on the right has two copper lines dropping down though the floor. The larger one has several fitting then it right angles into the tank. This one looks like it has large one way fitting before it enters the Tank. This is the one leaking. My questions are,,,
Is this the air tank for the brakes? What proced
As its very hard (lots of practise underneath the drivers compartment in the 4104) to change out the copper fittings, Is it OK to go to poly?
I will try first tighten everything but I don't think its leaking though the threads.
Thanks
John
One is the wet tank, the other is the front brake tank.
Use the soapy water to ID exactly what is leaking. The less you mess with that copper, the better.
Follow the connections, the front tank should be plumber to the brake valve, lurking at the rear of the spare tire compartment, the wet tank splits and feeds both the front brake tank as well as to the auxiliary tank under the driver.
let us know.
happy coaching!
