Title: Diesel Fuel Price Websites - Your Favorites?
Post by: rv_safetyman on July 01, 2006, 09:27:02 AM
We are in the Dillon CO area spending the holiday with one of our daughters and her family at a beautiful campground.

From here we head out to Oregon for the Eagle bus rally in Winchester Bay and then on to BusN USA.

I went to the Flying J site and see that there is no location on our way until we get to Salt Lake (too far).

So, I am wondering what you folks use to locate good truck stops with decent prices?

Here are links to the sites I use when sending our buses out on extended trips ! ;

http://www.dieselboss.com/fuel.htm

http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx?zip=

http://www.flyingj.com/fuel/diesel_CF.cfm?state=ALL

http://www.murphyoilcorp.com/

Hope these help ! Murphy's don't list their prices anymore but you can call them on the phone and they'll tell ya the price, and if yer using a Walmart gift card to make yer purchase it's saves ya $ .03
per gallon (also the pumps will keep going until yer full or reach the balance on the card ! I just figure about how many gallons I'm gonna need X the price & add about $ 20.00 go in the Walmart put the $ on the gift card then go out to the Murphy's in the parking lot and fuel, oh ya most of the time they are the cheapest places I find fuel at if they have diesel !)
For the MSN site I go to www.usps.com and get the zip codes for places I don't already know the zip code I also find cheap places using this site ! (almost anytime you can get away from the big truckstops you'll find a little better prices, although it does sometimes blow their minds when a big ol' bus comes in and buys 200 gallons or more of fuel ! The girls at the local Murphy's in Fulton, KY love seeing Dad and I pull in and pump 2-400 gallons between us! They say it really makes their shift 3's look great!)
For what it's worth I hope there is some helpful info here for ya! BK ;D

  :) ;) ;D We gonna have a heck of a great time @ Knuckle's TN Halloween Bus Bash !!!  ::) 8) :o
