Title: Air tanks in MCI 9 Manual.
Post by: johns4104s on March 10, 2009, 12:45:06 PM
I only have a disc for my MCI 9 Manual, It is hell to read, I have tried the brake, bodyand suspension sections but can not find it.
I really need to read up, before  I unscrew anything.

Thanks

what section of the manual is the full information on them. I see them noted in the air suspension section, but nothing in detail.

I saw them in section 4 (the brake and air section) but you are right there wasn't much in there. They are very simple. They usually have a drain, lines running to and fro and thats about it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Remember when you work on the you don't want any pressure in the....parts tend to fly a long distance unless of course those parts are stopped by any part of your body  :o

4 main tanks - one at the drive axle, two at the steer axle and a smaller one for auxiliaries in the steering compartment

Thank you for the input. I am looking in the manual for a detailed photos/info, before I start unscrewing and bleeding the tanks but I don't see where this information is in the manual.
